Description
The elementary teacher is responsible for helping students develop into mature, capable, and responsible citizens by teaching them subject matter and skills aligned with Hanover County Public Schools and Virginia Standards of Learning. This includes planning, delivering, and evaluating instruction, assessing student progress, creating assessments, fostering a positive learning environment, managing student behavior, utilizing appropriate instructional materials, participating in professional development, collaborating with colleagues, communicating with families, and ensuring compliance with educational laws.
