Description
The Grain Elevator Operator receives, stores, conditions, dries, transfers, and loads out grain while following food-safety, occupational-safety, and sanitation requirements. The role operates grain-handling equipment, grades and inspects corn, wheat, and soybeans, works safely around grain-hauling vehicles, performs bin and loading-station sanitation, and carries out routine and emergency equipment maintenance. The position has no supervisory duties, requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and involves physical work in an industrial environment, including heights, confined spaces, PPE, and allergen exposure.
