Description
The Grain Elevator Operator receives, stores, conditions, dries, transfers, and loads out grain while operating grain-handling equipment, inspecting corn, wheat, and soybeans, maintaining sanitation and equipment, and working safely around rail cars, trucks, trailers, and barges. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic hand-tool knowledge, physical ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, and the ability to wear PPE and respirators. It is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible variation depending on workload, and has no supervisory duties.
