Description
The Eligibility Case Manager will assess, determine eligibility, and process workers’ compensation claims in a self-insured environment in Queensland. The role makes eligibility decisions, investigates unclear liability, approves initial PIAWE and weekly compensation calculations, coordinates claim transitions to Case Managers, liaises with payroll, and provides clear communication to injured team members, employers, and other stakeholders. The position requires 3–5 years of workers’ compensation case management experience, knowledge of eligibility and liability assessment, PIAWE and compensation calculation review, claim investigation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The work model prioritizes in-person collaboration while offering flexibility.
