The Eligibility Supervisor leads and supports a team of Eligibility Case Managers, Lead Eligibility Case Managers, and Human Services Clerks responsible for determining initial and ongoing eligibility for public assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, Long Term Care, Old Age Pension, Aid to the Needy Disabled, and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families. The role oversees case processing, performance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, staff development, complex-case subject-matter support, client appeals, escalations, and collaboration with internal and external partners. Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, four years of eligibility-determination experience, CBMS experience, and successful completion of a criminal background check; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
