Description
Kirkwood Community College is hiring an ELL Instructor to teach non-credit English Language and Literacy courses to adult education and literacy students through online Zoom classes. The instructor will provide individualized, computer-assisted, and group instruction; assist students in transitioning to work training and higher education; conduct CASAS assessments; collaborate with other instructors; track attendance; and participate in team meetings and professional development. The role is based in an office setting with occasional travel to other Kirkwood locations and requires a bachelor’s degree or one to be received by September 14, with adult ELL/ABE teaching experience and TESOL-related credentials preferred.
