Description

Ford is hiring an Embedded Controls Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain firmware for vehicle body-control systems such as seats, tailgates, windows, latches, wipers, mirrors, sensing systems, and lighting. The role owns the software codebase from prototype through production, develops control and estimation algorithms, integrates hardware on test assets, supports functional safety, and collaborates with electrical, software, UI/UX, and other teams. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, at least three years of production-grade C and embedded systems experience, RTOS and bare-metal experience, vehicle network knowledge, and experience with hardware bring-up, testing, and systems development. The position is hybrid and offers visa sponsorship.
