Description

Northrop Grumman is hiring an Embedded DevOps Engineer Level 4 to design and own end-to-end CI/CD pipeline architecture for missile programs in its Advanced Weapons Business Unit. The role leads secure, scalable pipeline solutions across embedded software development streams, including Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, CMake, Visual Studio, and related build and testing tools, while coordinating with engineering, program, and senior leadership teams. It requires a full-time, on-site position in Northridge, California, a current US Government DoD Secret clearance with SAP eligibility, and substantial embedded software or hardware development experience. The primary salary range is $142,200 to $213,400, with potential overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and health insurance benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field with 8 years of embedded software or hardware development, or a Master of Science with 6 years of the same experience.
Required Previous Experiences: 8 years of embedded software or hardware development, preferably on safety-critical or defense platforms.
Experience as a technical lead collaborating with cross-functional teams.
DevSecOps experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and designing automation solutions.
Experience with Git and Agile development, including Agile and development metrics.
Embedded software development with microcontrollers, DSPs, FPGAs, and real-time operating systems in Windows or Linux environments.
Current US Government Secret security clearance with ability to obtain SAP clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in C/C++, Python, flight software development, or Software Factory.
Experience with the full software development life cycle.
Experience with GitLab, Atlassian tools, and CI/CD tools such as SonarCube, Fortify, and VectorCast.
Cloud technologies, containers, and orchestration with AWS, Azure, Podman, or Kubernetes.
Experience with simulators and STE development.
CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification.
Ability to implement process improvements and develop efficiencies.
Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytic skills.
