Vatn Systems is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and maintain bare-metal and RTOS firmware for autonomous underwater vehicles. The role involves C and C++ microcontroller development, hardware bring-up, device drivers, communication interfaces, sensor and actuator integration, real-time control, telemetry, testing, debugging, and firmware optimization. Candidates need a relevant technical degree, 3–5 years of embedded software experience, STM32 firmware experience, hardware-debugging skills, embedded communication knowledge, and United States citizenship or permanent residency, with security-clearance eligibility.
