IOX is hiring an embedded hardware and electronics engineer to develop connected products from initial circuit design through production-ready solutions. The role covers IoT systems, connectivity, protocols, energy management, certification, serial production, customer technical requirements, and external partner management, with optional technical or disciplinary leadership. Candidates need several years of embedded hardware or electronics experience, strong IoT knowledge, basic software and mechanical understanding, clear communication, a pragmatic approach, German and English skills, and availability in Cologne or regular on-site work. The position offers flexible working hours and home-office options.
