Spectra Defense Technologies is hiring an experienced Embedded Linux Software Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia. The role focuses on developing and optimizing embedded Linux software for NXP i.MX95 and related ARM-based SoCs, including BSPs, device drivers, kernel modules, bootloaders, root file systems, low-level integrations, and production C/C++ applications. The engineer will use Yocto/OpenEmbedded, perform board bring-up and hardware-software debugging, integrate peripheral interfaces, create technical documentation, and support high-reliability systems in aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, or similar regulated environments. The position is full-time, requires in-person work, and calls for a bachelor's degree plus 7–10+ years of relevant experience.
