SimpliSafe is hiring an Embedded Machine Learning Engineer for its Edge AI team to lead on-device inference and performance optimization for outdoor monitoring workloads. The role focuses on making ML models fast, power-efficient, stable, and shippable on embedded hardware such as outdoor cameras and doorbells, with responsibilities spanning model runtime integration, kernel and operator optimization, quantization, profiling, benchmarking, and cross-functional leadership. The position requires at least eight years of embedded systems or performance engineering experience, strong C/C++ and low-level systems knowledge, and experience optimizing ML inference on constrained devices. It follows a hybrid work model and offers an annual base pay range of $185,500 to $244,600.
