Description
The employer is hiring a senior Embedded Platform Design Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded hardware platforms for demanding industrial environments. The role covers digital circuit and PCB design, microcontroller-based system integration, board bring-up and debugging, functional and environmental testing, manufacturing and quality support, and design for manufacturability and test. It requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or computer engineering and at least 10 years of digital hardware design experience, with Altium, embedded systems, and digital communication protocols expertise; FPGA/CPLD, HDL, analog and power electronics, industry standards, and industrial-environment design experience are preferred. The position is onsite in the Greater Lehigh Valley Area and offers $135,000–$150,000 plus bonus, with minimal travel.
