Embodied AI is hiring an Embedded Robotics Engineer in Rome to develop embedded software and firmware for soft continuum robots. The role involves microcontroller programming, sensor and actuator interfacing, real-time control and communication systems, hardware-software integration, debugging, testing, and prototype development. Candidates need a degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, strong C/C++ and embedded systems experience, knowledge of communication protocols and real-time architectures, and fluency in English. Experience with ROS/ROS 2, RTOS, motor control, soft robotics, custom electronics, Linux, and Python is a bonus.
