SpaceX is hiring an Embedded Security Engineer for Starlink to design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure and features across routers, dishes, gateways, satellites, factory processes, and terrestrial systems. The role focuses on secure software and large-scale infrastructure, including cryptographic services, operating-system and network security, secure boot, incident response, vulnerability research, and software development. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM field or equivalent security software development experience, plus programming experience in Python, C++, or Golang and experience implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or enterprise infrastructure.
