NXP is hiring a full-time Embedded Security Engineer / Vulnerability Researcher in Gratkorn to analyze, test, and harden embedded systems used in next-generation products. The role involves examining firmware, boot flows, interfaces, and attack surfaces; performing static and dynamic security testing; supporting product security assessments and certifications; investigating vulnerabilities; researching emerging attack techniques; and advising development teams. Candidates should have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, strong embedded or low-level software knowledge, C and assembly experience, familiarity with microcontroller or SoC architectures, and experience or strong interest in security testing, reverse engineering, or vulnerability research.
