Wabtec is hiring an embedded software engineer for its CaSE Heavy Haul SW Team in Contagem, Minas Gerais, working onsite. The role involves writing, testing, debugging, reviewing, releasing, and maintaining embedded software for locomotive control systems; supporting factory and customer locomotives; performing root-cause analysis; implementing cyber features; and collaborating with engineering, product, simulation, verification, validation, and hardware teams. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in software, computer engineering, or computer science, fluent English, and experience with embedded and real-time software systems, C/C++, Linux or QNX, testing and debugging, configuration management, and cyber security practices.
