The role involves analyzing customer requirements, designing and developing embedded software and test suites for automotive powertrain systems, proposing technical solutions, documenting design changes, developing unit and functional tests, researching technologies, integrating software components, configuring software and hardware, and executing integration tests. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree, up to six years of embedded software development experience, C programming skills, microcontroller or microprocessor exposure, RTOS and testing experience, and good English; Japanese proficiency is optional.
