Microchip Denmark is hiring an Embedded Ethernet Software Engineer to develop OS-agnostic C APIs and PHY drivers for physical Ethernet interfaces used in automotive and industrial applications. The role involves bringing up and tuning Ethernet SerDes interfaces, implementing PCS and MAC functionality, contributing to switch drivers, writing MISRA-compliant C code, and maintaining automated testing infrastructure. The position requires strong C and embedded software experience, knowledge of Ethernet standards and hardware debugging, and at least five years of applicable experience.
