Amazon Prime Air is hiring an Embedded Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and test critical features for embedded applications and platforms powering the Prime Air drone. The role involves root-cause analysis, hardware/software debugging, collaboration with hardware teams and vendors, and enabling new computing hardware and functionality. Candidates need at least three years of professional embedded firmware development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with C/C++ embedded development; prior safety-critical software experience is valued. The position is based in Seattle, Washington, with a base salary of $143,700 to $194,400 annually.
