Amazon is hiring an embedded software engineer for its low Earth orbit satellite network, Amazon Leo. The role develops embedded software in Rust, C, C++, or other modern languages; writes device drivers and system applications for satellite systems and interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and CAN; develops security features; and supports board bring-up and integration with software and hardware teams. Candidates need at least three years of professional software development experience, two years of design or architecture experience, and experience with at least one programming language. The position is based in Redmond, Washington, with a base salary of $143,700 to $194,400 annually.
