Description
ALTEN is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate safety-critical embedded C++ software for defence and other highly regulated engineering systems. The role involves structured and model-based design, systems and hardware integration, compliance with DO-178C and MISRA C/C++, verification and validation, and Agile development. It is a hands-on, on-site position in the Central Belt of Scotland requiring 3–4 days per week, with a mid–senior level and 5+ years of experience. Candidates must be eligible for UK Security Clearance and hold a relevant degree or equivalent technical military background.
