ALTEN is hiring a mid-level Embedded Software Engineer in Loughborough to develop, validate, and support control-system software for clean-energy and advanced-technology applications. The role covers cell-voltage monitoring, air-module and turbine control strategies, C programming, Simulink algorithms, bench testing, software requirements, DFMEA, and controller performance investigation. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent military experience, embedded or control-system software experience, C and debugging skills, and knowledge of software testing and validation.
