Description
Archer is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and verify safety-critical software for the aircraft Charge Control Unit. The role involves designing charge-control systems, interfacing embedded software with high-voltage and analog/digital circuitry, developing fault detection and diagnostic algorithms, analyzing schematics, and supporting DO-178C-compliant software development and verification. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field and at least 48 months of experience with safety-critical embedded software, C/C++, real-time operating systems or custom schedulers, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, or I2C. The salary is $189,072 to $198,525.60 per year, and visa sponsorship is not available.
