HARMAN International is hiring a permanent Software Engineer, Embedded for its Immersive Audio Team in Garching, Bavaria, Germany. The role focuses on advancing wireless audio technologies from research through productization on embedded Linux-based platforms, including developing software for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, and Ultra-Wideband; implementing cross-platform, chipset-agnostic solutions; optimizing real-time system and algorithm performance; integrating embedded and Linux software; supporting commercialization; and producing technical reports, white papers, and patent applications. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and at least six years of relevant industry experience, with on-site work three days per week and up to 10% travel.
