citema is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer (m/w/d) in Bremen on a hybrid basis to develop reliable, safety- and security-critical flight software for satellites. The role involves designing Rust-based software architectures, developing safety- and security-relevant components, applying multicore and real-time concepts, implementing communication interfaces, and meeting ECSS requirements. Candidates need a relevant degree or training, embedded software experience, Rust and real-time systems expertise, knowledge of RTOS or Embedded Linux, familiarity with regulated software quality processes, and very good German.
