Description
Emerson is hiring an embedded software engineer to define, design, and develop embedded software for Fisher-branded products, create and maintain manual and automated test solutions, analyze defects, maintain engineering documentation, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and other engineering teams. The role requires professional experience with embedded software development or testing, knowledge of C# and C/C++, embedded design principles, test automation, electrical schematics, and basic circuit analysis. Preferred qualifications include industrial or regulated-environment experience, control systems knowledge, distributed version control, continuous integration, ARM processor platforms, test equipment, industrial communication protocols, and Agile development experience. The role is associated with Emerson’s Innovation Center in Marshalltown, Iowa.
