Freeform is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the architecture of critical embedded software systems for their advanced metal 3D printing factories. The role involves designing and developing software for hardware control, enabling computer vision systems, monitoring sensor data, performing calibrations, logging quality data, tracking system health, integrating control algorithms, working with FPGA developers for high-speed data acquisition, collecting and analyzing process data, implementing production automation solutions, and ensuring scalable and maintainable software development.
