Description
The role designs, builds, and tests software for connected medical devices, translating product requirements into design specifications and verification tests. It involves independent and small-team work, collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, system integration, real-world performance verification, and delivery of prototypes, test results, and documentation. The position requires a BS with 3+ years of experience or an MS with 1+ year of experience, production software or firmware development, C++ or Rust programming, communication protocols, data processing, software tools, source control, prototyping, and debugging. Medical-device, wearable, IoT, wireless, cybersecurity, sensor, and Rust experience are preferred, and travel may be required up to 10% of the time.
