Description

Intuitive is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop C/C++ middleware, application software, system services, APIs, and data-management software for the Ion robotic endoluminal platform. The role involves integrating software across CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and other specialized hardware; debugging heterogeneous systems; supporting verification, validation, and product bring-up; and maintaining reliable, testable software. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of industry experience or a master’s degree with 4+ years, plus 4+ years of hands-on embedded systems experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or a master’s degree in a related discipline.
Required Previous Experiences: 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting embedded systems in a production environment.
Experience developing production software.
Experience developing applications or middleware on Linux or another POSIX-based operating system.
