Kilter is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for its autonomous agricultural robots. The role covers firmware, hardware interfaces, real-time control, sensor and actuator integration, communication, debugging, testing, and software quality across the embedded stack. Candidates should have a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience, professional embedded software or firmware experience, strong C or C++ skills, and experience with microcontrollers, real-time systems, hardware interfaces, debugging tools, version control, and communication protocols. Robotics, autonomous systems, motor control, sensor integration, Linux, embedded operating systems, or safety-critical software experience is a plus.
