Description
Paradromics is hiring an Embedded Software & Test Engineer to develop and test low-latency, high-fidelity firmware for brain-machine implants. The role focuses on multi-component embedded software, real-time performance, power efficiency, reliability, and the standards required for implantable medical devices. Responsibilities include writing performant Rust, maintaining automated unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop tests, profiling firmware, and documenting architecture and APIs. Required qualifications include proficiency in C++, Go, or Rust, embedded-systems experience, Linux low-level software experience, and familiarity with build tools; preferred qualifications include RTOS or bare-metal software, Yocto or Buildroot, OTA and secure boot, and experience with quality-management systems.
