Quest Defense Systems & Solutions is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to build foundational software components for next-generation avionics systems, including shared libraries, I/O frameworks, and partitioned services. The role focuses on reusable software architecture, ARINC-653 partitioning, HLR/LLR and DAL certification, and scalable infrastructure, with a remote work arrangement and up to 10% travel to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or U.S. persons and have at least four years of embedded software development or testing experience, including C++, object-oriented design, I/O architecture, and HLR/LLR proficiency.
