Renesas Electronics is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer based in Athens to develop, test, document, and own the quality of embedded software in collaboration with software architects. The role includes software planning, progress reporting, mentoring junior team members, and working with embedded platforms, RISC architectures, testing tools, software engineering methodologies, and version-control systems. A university degree and 2–3 years of embedded software development experience are required, while Zephyr RTOS, open-source contributions, Bluetooth Low Energy, multithreaded micro-kernel RTOS, and security or cryptography experience are preferred.
