Description
Spaceium is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop mission-critical spacecraft software that interfaces with avionics, sensors, actuators, and subsystems. The role involves writing C, C++, and Python firmware; developing microcontroller and embedded-processor software; implementing communication protocols; building real-time and data-acquisition systems; testing and validating software; and helping define architecture and development practices. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field, C or C++ programming experience, embedded-systems familiarity, and Git experience, and requires physical presence at the Ottawa facility. Compensation is $75,000–$110,000 CAD per year plus 0.1%–0.5% equity.
