Description
Wabtec is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, test, demonstrate, and maintain C/C++ embedded software for freight locomotive control systems, including LOCOTROL Remote Control Locomotive, Tower Control, and Distributed Power products. The role requires at least eight years of embedded software experience across RTOS and bare-metal environments, along with expertise in multi-threading, microprocessors, communication protocols, software configuration and analysis tools, reliability and safety systems, and industry standards. The engineer will work with product managers, system engineers, architects, test teams, customers, and partners, with 10% travel and possible relocation assistance.
