Wabtec is hiring an Embedded Lead Software Engineer to design, code, test, review, and release locomotive system embedded applications. The role includes resolving production and field issues, documenting designs and test plans, performing root-cause analysis, managing software quality, and mentoring junior team members. Candidates need a master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering with at least three years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with at least five years of relevant experience, along with C/C++, Python, embedded real-time systems, processor, hardware-interface, and software-process experience.
