The role involves C/C++ and Assembly firmware development, schematic and PCB design, troubleshooting, project management, reliability and safety validation, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external software vendors. Candidates need an undergraduate or graduate degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, professional experience in embedded software and hardware design, and proficiency with C, C++, Assembly, and PCB tools. The position is hybrid, may require international travel, and offers $50–$70 per hour for candidates working in California.
