CesiumAstro is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer II to develop and port embedded Linux applications, device drivers, and libraries; configure and customize Linux kernels and bootloaders; maintain Yocto-based build systems in CI/CD pipelines; package software images; create tailored Linux distributions; and collaborate with hardware, systems, and FPGA engineers. The role supports the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, testing, qualification, and in-orbit support, and offers technical leadership opportunities. Candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, 0–2 years of professional embedded software experience, C or C++ proficiency, and experience with embedded hardware.
