FORT Robotics is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer II to own components of its embedded software stack, developing safety-critical C/C++ firmware for real-time and bare-metal systems. The role focuses on RTOS architecture with Zephyr and FreeRTOS, low-level drivers, hardware bring-up, Linux integration, CI/CD, debugging, and IEC 61508 safety compliance. Candidates need 3–5 years of embedded software experience, strong C and C++ skills, RTOS and microcontroller expertise, and a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
