Description
Quest Defense Systems & Solutions is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop low-level, real-time software for multicore processors and System-on-Chip platforms in safety- and mission-critical aerospace, avionics, or defense environments. The role involves processor and board-level software, deterministic avionics networking, hardware bring-up, FPGA and ASIC integration, debugging, and DO-178B/C development. Candidates must have a relevant STEM bachelor’s degree, at least four years of embedded software or firmware experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work remotely with an initial onboarding period in Endicott, New York and quarterly site travel. Compensation is $100,000–$140,000 USD.
