Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to enhance software safety across multiple defense programs. The role involves creating, delivering, and reviewing software products and documentation; contributing to development and integration; solving challenging software safety issues; and making individual-contributor design and tool-operation decisions. Candidates must hold a DoD Secret Security Clearance, have a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, at least five years of professional software development experience, and experience with software safety, embedded systems, C++, embedded operating systems, MIL-STD 882E, and defense software safety standards. The position offers a full-time salary range of $98,100 to $182,100 and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
