Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is hiring an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and optimize SRD, a high-performance, low-latency transport protocol used across AWS network infrastructure. The role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining SRD code, understanding platforms and services that run SRD, and contributing to hardware modules and performance offloads. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, plus at least five years of professional C development experience; multi-core, embedded firmware or Linux, low-level software and hardware, real-time profiling, and networking experience are preferred.
