Stryker is hiring an R&D Co-Op Student for its Cork office to support the R&D New Product Development Team in planning and designing medical devices for orthopedic surgeons. The role involves software design, prototyping, bench testing, problem solving, research, regulatory and design-control learning, and collaboration with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management teams. Candidates should be studying or have completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biomedical, software, electronic, or robotics engineering, with embedded C and C++ programming knowledge; Python, PCB design, development boards, and statistical analysis are advantageous. The position is onsite, offers €30,000 EUR annually in Ireland, and includes flexible working hours and mentorship.
