Description
Swoop Technologies is building a distributed operating system, SwoopOS, that decomposes the world’s equipment into a distributed robotic embodiment. The Edge Team is building a legitimate distributed operating system that works across heterogeneous instruction sets, supports a new generation of distributed system abstractions, treats security as a first principle, and works at the scale of power grids and entire militaries. The position involves developing and maintaining embedded system firmware, contributing to OS integration and kernel-level modules, designing and implementing application-layer features and system services, and collaborating cross-functionally with other engineering teams.
