Description
Umbra is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer with a strong firmware background to join their Space Systems team. This role involves designing, implementing, and debugging low-level drivers, participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural documentation, and developing embedded firmware in C and Rust for various microcontroller systems. The engineer will also be responsible for bringing up and debugging hardware systems, supporting system integration and verification, defining and executing test plans, troubleshooting issues, and improving development workflows. The position is based in Santa Barbara/Goleta, CA, and requires collaboration with electrical, software, and systems engineers.
