Description
The Embedded Systems Engineer will lead the hardware and software development of embedded computing systems for a portable point-of-care blood coagulation testing device, guiding the product from prototype through commercial readiness. Responsibilities include designing battery and sample-handling systems, developing fluid and injection systems, integrating processors and displays, optimizing resource-constrained embedded software, supporting FDA and grant-related activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering and at least five years of embedded systems experience, with medical device experience preferred.
