Coherent Corp. is seeking an early-career Embedded Systems Software and FPGA Programmer to support the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software and FPGA-based optical systems. The role contributes to requirements and design documentation, implements software and FPGA designs, executes integration test plans from hardware bring-up through system validation, and collaborates with senior engineers. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is required, along with C, C++, and Verilog knowledge; VHDL, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems are beneficial. The position also requires debugging, troubleshooting, communication, teamwork, planning, and problem-solving skills, with an interest in laser systems.
