Description
Coherent Corp. is seeking an early-career Embedded Systems Software and FPGA Programmer to support the design, development, documentation, integration, and testing of embedded systems and FPGA-based optical systems. The role works under senior engineer guidance on requirements, block diagrams, design and interface-control documentation, implementation, test plans, hardware bring-up, and system validation. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field is required, along with C and C++ programming and Verilog familiarity; VHDL, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems are beneficial. The position also requires debugging, troubleshooting, teamwork, communication, planning, problem-solving, adaptability, customer focus, and interest in laser systems.
