ALSO is hiring an Embedded Validation & Tools Engineer - OTA to own validation, automation, and operational readiness for firmware and software update delivery across embedded devices. The role designs OTA test plans, builds hardware-in-the-loop and virtualized testbeds, automates end-to-end update pipelines, validates update mechanisms and security properties, tests resilience under adverse conditions, analyzes failed updates, and maintains device-lab tooling. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least five years of embedded-device and firmware-update validation experience, Python and C/C++ skills, embedded-platform knowledge, CI integration experience, and hardware-debugging expertise. The position offers $140,000-$170,000 per year and health, dental, vision, retirement, and family benefits.
